About Delaware Hospice, Inc.
We are the only not-for-profit hospice organization in Delaware, serving over 36,000 patient and families since our establishment in 1982. Delaware Hospice provides the highest quality hospice and health care services and serves as a trusted community partner in end-of-life education and support. Delaware Hospice holds accreditation by the Joint Commission, ensuring that the highest level of care is provided to patients and families. Delaware Hospice offers comfort and specialized care at its state-of-the-art Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
A home-away-from-home environment and caring staff welcome patients for brief stays who require a higher level of 24-hour care for symptom management. Unique programs have been created to meet the needs above and beyond traditional hospice care, including New Hope, a bereavement program for children and teens, and Transitions, a non-medical support program for seriously ill individuals who do not qualify for hospice admission.
