Beebe Medical Center is a not-for-profit community hospital with 210 licensed beds. Specialized services include Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology/Bariatrics and Women’s Health. Beebe has an Interventional Cardiology program, a round-the-clock Hospitalist program and a multi-disciplinary cancer center offering medical oncology and radiation oncology. Beebe Medical Center also operates an open-heart surgery program in affiliation with Christiana Care Health System. Beebe’s medical staff consists of more than 200 physicians and practitioners representing 40 specialties.
Beebe Medical Center operates Lab Express, Diagnostic Imaging and Physical Therapy outpatient services in Lewes, Milton, Millville, Millsboro, Georgetown, Long Neck and Rehoboth. Beebe Medical Center services include: Diabetes Management, an adult activities center, home health agency, an integrative health department, school-based wellness centers and the only hospital-based, nursing school in the state. Beebe’s Emergency Department in Lewes is a Level III Trauma Center. In addition, from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend the Beebe Emergency Center on Route 26 in Millville is open.
